Smart Cities have been a topical issue in recent years.
The PCBC conducting active cooperation with local/regional government authorities has the opportunity to observe a dynamic and efficient development of cities serving the local community. However, the lack of a structured approach to this topic may cause confusion and problems when deciding on strategy to be built by particular city to demonstrate that its intelligence is growing and that it ensures sustainable urban development in different fields.
Although since 2015 we are talking about the third generation of Smart Cities that is based on creative involvement of inhabitants, the basic concepts and definitions of the areas of the Smart City activity still require clarification. That is why we are launching a series of trainings addressed to city governors, City Representatives for Smart City or other persons responsible for the strategy, implementation or coordination of projects in terms of the Smart City, sustainable urban development and improvement of the quality of life.
The first training “Quality of life in the city – intelligent city services, sustainable development and Smart City” will take place on 13 June 2019. WELCOME TO ATTEND!
