Meeting of leading bodies providing certification of management systems which are members of the IQNet

From 5 to 10 May 2019, a meeting of leading bodies providing certification of management systems from around the world which are members of the International Certification Network (IQNet) was held in Cartagena, Colombia.

The meeting concerned, inter alia, the summary of IQNet achievements in 2018, actions undertaken in 2019 and further plans for the coming years. The Polish Centre for Testing and Certification, as a partner of IQNet since 1997, also actively participated in the meeting. Detailed issues discussed during the meeting concerned, inter alia, the IQNet development strategy for the coming years, development of new tools used in communication between partner organizations, detailed tasks arising in day-to-day activities of Certification Bodies, as well as changes in ISO standards, resulting also from IQNet activities in international organizations acting on conformity assessment market.

The meeting was attended by Certification Bodies from around the world (Mexico, China, Korea, Japan, Venezuela, Russian Federation, Ireland, Norway, Austria, Germany, and others). The host of the meeting was the Colombian Certification Body ICONTEC International.
