Factory Production Control mark

Factory Production Control (FPC) means the documented permanent, internal control of the production in a factory in accordance with the relevant technical specifications.

Factory Production Control is a regular part of the conformity assessment system and assessment and verification system of constancy of performance of construction products:

• in the European system – in order to mark with CE marking;
• in the national system – in order to mark with construction mark B.

FPC mark is established and supervised by the PCBC. This mark is intended for use on a voluntary basis by manufacturers of construction products who obtained the PCBC certificate of conformity or the certificate of factory production control.

Polish Centre for Testing and Certification performs FPC certification in 2+ system and FPC assessment in conformity certification in 1 and 1+ systems.

Specimens and rules for use of the mark are defined in the Annex to the Order No. 10 / II / 2006 of the Chairman of the Management Board of PCBC dated 23 August 2006. The authorized use of the mark is granted on the basis of a written application (FGW-01/6) and signed agreement (FGW-02/7) on the use of FPC mark concerning all products covered by FPC certificates or certificates of conformity issued by PCBC.

• Thermal insulation products for buildings — Factory made products of expanded polystyrene (EPS),
• Bitumen and bituminous binders – oxidized asphalts,
• Bitumen and bituminous binders – hard paving grade bitumen,
• Thermal insulation products for buildings – external thermal insulation composite systems with mineral wool (ETICS),
• Kits of products for thermal insulation,
• Flexible sheets for waterproofing – Underlays for walls,
