Working meeting of FSSC 22000 Certification Bodies

On 9-12 of October 2018, in Amsterdam, an annual obligatory harmonization meeting of certification bodies participating in the FSSC 22000 Scheme took place.

The Polish Centre for Testing and Certification as a body  authorized to issue FSSC 22000 certificates from 2014  was also present at the meeting. The meeting was attended by certification bodies from around the world, as well as other parties interested in the FSSC 22000 Scheme, including representatives of Accreditation Bodies authorized to provide accreditation for FSSC 22000, representatives of organizations providing training on the FSSC 22000 Scheme.

The most important issues discussed during the meeting included, inter alia, information concerning:

• The schedule for the introduction of the new version of the FSSC 22000 Scheme, version 5.
• The process of introducing changes related to the new version of the ISO 22000 standard and the impact of these changes on the FSSC Certification Scheme.
• Maintaining the competence of auditors working in the FSSC 22000 Scheme – plans to introduce examinations for auditors according to the GFSI requirements.
