Information
On July 16, 2022, Regulation (EC) 2003/2003 of 13 October 2003 relating to fertilizers expired and was replaced by Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of 5 June 2019 laying down rules on the making available on the market of EU fertilising products.
Certificates issued by PCBC S.A. on the EC FERTILIZER mark remain valid according to the date indicated on the document, and products bearing the EC FERTILIZER mark may still be made available on the market, provided that:
- were manufactured before July 16, 2022 and comply with Regulation (EC) No. 2003/2003 and
- have already been delivered, or are in storage for delivery, or have been brought into the EU customs territory.
Products that meet the above conditions may remain on the market until their expiry date.
Therefore, PCBC S.A. does not conduct new certification processes under the EC FERTILIZER mark, but supervises the issued certificates.
Entrepreneurs interested in the possibility of using the voluntary CE mark for EU fertilising products, please read the information on the course of the assessment process in accordance with the new Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 and submit applications to PCBC S.A. for conformity assessment with the above-mentioned products.
